Attendance & payroll

Attendance and payroll software for real estate sales teams.

A property sales team is never in an office. They are at a site in Thane, a sales gallery in Wakad, or in a car between two of them — which is exactly why biometric machines and office-Wi-Fi attendance do not work for real estate. SaudaFlow marks attendance where the work actually happens, tracks leaves with an approval trail, and issues payslips from the same app your brokers already open forty times a day.

A real 20-minute walkthrough with your own projects on screen. No card, no self-serve signup — we set the workspace up with you.

How attendance and payroll run together

One employee record feeds attendance, leaves, incentives and the payslip, so nothing is entered twice.

  1. 01

    Mark attendance in the field

Brokers mark present from wherever the day starts, with location captured. For site teams, attendance can key off app login hours instead, so a full day at a project counts without an extra ritual.

  2. 02

    Request and approve leave

Casual, sick, comp-off and festival leave requested from the phone and approved by the reporting manager in one tap. The balance updates itself and the approval trail is stored, not remembered.

  3. 03

    Run salary for the month

Salary computes from the attendance and leave already recorded, prorated on present days, with statutory heuristics applied. Every run carries a CA-review-required banner, because payroll is not a place for false confidence.

  4. 04

    Issue the payslip

A branded PDF payslip per employee with year-to-date figures, shareable on WhatsApp from the same timeline. Your accountant gets a structured export instead of a folder of screenshots.

Why office HR tools fail a field sales team

Standard Indian HR software assumes an office. Attendance is a fingerprint reader at a door, or a punch from an office IP address, and the work happens between nine and six in one building. A real estate sales team breaks every one of those assumptions on day one.

Their day starts at a site, includes three locations, extends past eight in the evening on weekdays and runs full days on weekends when buyers are free. Forcing that team through office-shaped attendance produces one of two outcomes: everyone is marked absent and the data is useless, or everyone is marked present by a coordinator and the data is fiction.

Attendance that travels with the phone solves it honestly. Present is marked where the person is, with location context, and for site teams it can derive from app activity so the record reflects a day spent working rather than a ritual performed at a door. The result is an attendance sheet that a manager can actually use to answer why a broker's numbers dropped last month.

  • Marked from the field, with location captured
  • Login-hours-based attendance for site and gallery teams
  • Weekend and evening work counted properly
  • Holiday calendars for Maharashtra, Karnataka and NCR pre-loaded

Leave, comp-off and the weekend problem

Real estate runs on weekends, which makes comp-off a live currency rather than an HR footnote. A broker who worked both Saturday and Sunday during a launch is owed time, and in most firms that debt is tracked in a WhatsApp message to a manager who may not be there in three months.

Leave in SaudaFlow is a request with a type, a balance and an approval, recorded against the employee. Comp-off accrues where the policy says it should and is visible to both sides. When a broker asks for Thursday off, the manager approving it can see the balance, the team's coverage and the site visits already booked in that person's diary.

The audit trail matters more than it sounds. Disputes about leave are among the most common sources of an ugly exit, and the difference between a two-minute conversation and a two-week argument is whether the approvals were written down at the time.

Incentives, because in this industry that is most of the pay

For a large part of an Indian real estate sales team, fixed salary is the smaller half of earnings. Incentives on bookings, slab-based bonuses on quarterly targets and sub-brokerage splits are what people actually work for, and they are almost universally computed in a separate spreadsheet by one person under time pressure.

Because bookings, brokerage and attendance all sit in the same system, incentive calculation reads from the deals rather than from a re-entered list. A broker can see their own earnings screen — what has accrued, what is pending a builder payment, what has been paid — without going to the accounts team, which removes a monthly conversation nobody enjoys.

The finance side gets the mirror image: a payable position per broker that reconciles against the same booked deals the brokerage ledger is chasing on the receivables side.

  • Incentives computed from booked deals, not a re-keyed sheet
  • A broker's own earnings view — accrued, pending, paid
  • Slab and target-based bonus structures supported
  • Payables reconcile against the same deals as receivables

HR data is the most sensitive data in your workspace

Salary structures, bank account details, PAN, leave reasons that occasionally include medical information — the HR module holds material that would embarrass a business badly if it leaked, and that is squarely personal data under the DPDP Act 2023.

It is stored encrypted at rest on Mumbai infrastructure, isolated per workspace, and visible only to the roles you authorise. Every staff access to HR data writes an audit row you can read, so the question "who looked at my salary" has an answer rather than an assurance. Payslips are encrypted at rest and re-encrypted per share.

Statutory computation — provident fund, ESI, professional tax, TDS — is applied as heuristics matching what most Indian SMB payrolls use, and every payroll run displays a CA-review-required banner. We are not your chartered accountant and the product does not pretend to be one.

Frequently asked questions

Do my brokers need to be in an office to mark attendance?

No — that is the entire reason this exists. Attendance is marked from the phone wherever the day starts, with location captured, and site teams can have it derive from app login hours instead. A biometric machine at a head office measures nothing useful about a team that spends its week at projects.

Does SaudaFlow file my PF, ESI or TDS returns?

No. The product computes these using the heuristics most Indian SMB payrolls use and shows a CA-review-required banner on every run, then gives your accountant a structured export including a Tally-compatible ledger. Filing and statutory sign-off stay with your CA, which is where they should be.

Can a broker see another broker's salary?

No. HR data is role-scoped, a broker sees only their own record and their own earnings, and every staff access writes an audit row you can read. Salary information is the most sensitive material in the workspace and is treated accordingly.

How are incentives on bookings calculated?

From the booked deals already in the CRM, using the incentive structure configured for that role or individual — per-booking, slab-based, or a share of brokerage. Because it reads the same deals the brokerage ledger reads, the broker's earnings screen and the firm's payable cannot drift apart.
